Campus celebrities to appear as guest spellers in NU Theatre production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”

As if getting your tickets to one of the funniest Tony Award-winning musicals produced wasn’t enough of a no-brainer…

Niagara University Theatre is proud to announce that there will be celebrity “guest spellers” participating in most performances of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”

To date, the following luminaries have volunteered to join the cast on stage for the hilarious hijinks and sidesplitting shenanigans that will ensue during this delightful musical spelling competition. Get your tickets now to see your favorite VIP on stage.

Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. – Mr. Simon Gray, director of athletics

Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:30  p.m. – Dr. Kevin Hearn, vice president for enrollment management and student affairs

Saturday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. – Dr. Debra Colley, executive vice president

Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. – Ms. Maryalice Demler, WGRZ news anchor/ Niagara University alumna

Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. – Ms. Diane Stoelting, director of academic support

Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. – Dr. Tim Ireland, interim provost and chief academic officer

Friday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m. – Dr. Peter Butera, interim dean of arts and sciences

Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. – Brother Martin Schneider, C.M., special assistant to the provost

Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. – Mr. John Barker, director of campus safety
