2016 NU Grad Earns Award For Teaching Excellence
Allison Turck, a 2016 Niagara University graduate, recently won Success Academy Charter Schools’ Academic Achievement Award, which recognizes the teachers who inspired their scholars to perform at the highest academic level across all 41 Success Academy schools.
Turck, originally of Queensbury, N.Y., earned an undergraduate degree in elementary education and special education from NU. She currently teaches fourth grade at Success Academy Crown Heights in Brooklyn, N.Y.
