Frances (Dobrasz) Ardus, mother of Teresa Caso and cousin of Donna Dobarsz, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at her home in Leesburg, Fla. She was born in Niagara Falls on May 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Anthony and Lottie (Moskal) Dobrasz.

Mrs. Ardus was a 1954 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was employed as a medical biller by many local physicians, including Niagara Orthopaedics until her retirement. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and ceramics; but spending time with family was most important, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Ardus is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank Ardus Sr. of Leesburg, Fla.; her daughter, Teresa (William) Caso of Niagara Falls and her son, Frank (Cheryl) Ardus Jr. of Orchard Park. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Stephanie (Jason) Polka, Erica Caso, and Nicholas and Lindsey Ardus as well as her brother, Robert (Barbara) Dobrasz. She was predeceased by her brother, John (Gerry of Atlanta, Ga.) Dobrasz.

Friends may call on Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME INC., 356 Portage Road where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th Streets with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
