“Truth, Lies, and Politics: An Exploration of Political Ethics and the Nature of Truth (and ‘Truthiness’) in 21st-Century America.”
Last week’s Constitution Day panel got the fall discussion series off to a strong start. The panel was well attended and there were some excellent questions from students. The panelists, of course, were superlative.
Here are the details for the next panel in the series:
“Truth, Lies, and Politics: An Exploration of Political Ethics and the Nature of Truth (and ‘Truthiness’) in 21st-Century America.”
- Date, time, and location: Tues., Sept. 27, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Dunleavy Hall, Room 127.
- Confirmed participants: Dr. Peter J. Baxter, Political Science; Dr. Alexander U. Bertland, Philosophy; Dr. Doug Tewksbury, Communication Studies; and Prof. Kevin A. Hinkley (Moderator), Political Science and Criminal Justice.
Fittingly, this panel will be held the day after the first presidential debate. Hope to see you there.
