The Post

• Under the leadership of Patricia Wrobel,  executive director of the Levesque Institute, the institute will continue to house IMPACT (formerly Learn and Serve Niagara) as well as to lead initiatives in the community that focus on the core priorities of the university’s strategic plan.
• This fall,  Dr. David Taylor will resume his full-time faculty responsibilities in the department of criminal justice. He will serve in a new role as the faculty liaison to the Levesque Institute.
• Thomas Lowe (previously Director of ReNU) has been appointed as the director of IMPACT/ReNU, merging these two areas to enhance community impact. His position replaces that of Fran Boltz, who participated in the voluntary separation program.
• Brittany DePietro remains in her role as coordinator,  Levesque Institute/IMPACT.
• Help Me Grow, the Niagara Quality Improvement Project, and community outreach programs will be housed in the Levesque Institute as they support the strategic directions of the Institute.
• The Border Community SERVICE Program will move to Academic Affairs under the leadership of the provost.
• The Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, C.M. Institute for Civic Engagement and IMPACT will be located in the Academic Complex.
