2020 United Way Challenge
Did you know?
Thanks to funding from United Way of Greater Niagara, Niagara University’s Books, Balls, and Blocks has been re-imagined into Book in a Box! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person events will not take place until it is safe to do so. Book in a Box is a free, exciting way to bring fun games, stories, art activities, and developmental screenings into the homes of the families in our community. This new initiative will begin the first week in October.
-
How it works:
-
Families will register their child(ren) online.
-
Once registered, they will complete the Ages and Stages questionnaires online.
-
Once both the registration and the developmental screenings have been completed, the family’s box will be sent to their homes!
-
We hope to receive pictures of all of the fun from the participating families to share on our social media page!
-
-
Inside each box:
-
One developmentally appropriate book.
-
Large and fine motor activities that correspond with the book.
-
Art activity with supplies.
-
Early literacy activities.
-
And more!
