In Announcements, by , on November 9th, 2020
Ontario First Year Teacher Candidates have stepped up their efforts to support our communities by feeding the hungry in response to the second wave of the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Hunger Patrol is an initiative led by Academic Chair, Dr. Christian Elia in collaboration with the Order of Malta in support of Good Shepherd Ministries.
From various opportunities available, many Ontario students have actively chosen to support the local Communities as part of the University’s Impact initiative serving vulnerable populations in the Vincentian tradition.

In addition to full-time course loads, employments and family responsibilities, Ontario Teacher Candidates contribute their time and resources, by preparing and personally delivering more than 850 meals on a weekly basis.

This is a snapshot of the future of teaching profession.
It is a source of hope, optimism and admiration.

Congratulations Ontario!
Thank you for your hard work and generosity supporting communities in need.
