“A Conversation with Ben Crump”- MAAB & NUSGA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Speaker Series
Join Niagara University Multicultural Affairs Advisory Board and Niagara University Student Government on January 31, 2022, for “A Conversation with Ben Crump” as we reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and explore his trailblazing experience as a social justice advocate. Ben Crump has established himself as one of the nation’s foremost lawyers. He has worked on some of the most high-profile cases in the U.S., representing the families of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Stephon Clark, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, as well as the residents of Flint, Michigan, who were affected by the poisoned water of the Flint River. He has been nationally recognized as one of the Most Influential People of 2021 by TIME100, the 2014 NNPA Newsmaker of the Year, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers, and Ebony Magazine Power 100 Most Influential African Americans.
The free public presentation will take place at 6:00 p.m. on January 31, 2022, in both a virtual and in-person capacity. The event will be held in Russell J. Salvatore Dining Commons Extension with limited seating providing in-person accessibility and broadcasted on zoom for virtual options. In-person seating is limited!
