Niagara University welcomes 208 guests from the Catholic Heart Workcamp to campus this week. The campers will work with the poor, disabled, and elderly in the community.

The group will stay in Seton Hall and begin their days with Mass in the Dining Commons before heading to work with local agencies including Heart, Love, and Soul, the Salvation Army, several local churches, the Niagara Community Action Program, the Gospel Rescue Mission, Niagara Heritage, and many residents of Niagara Falls. Over half of their work will also be at the Tuscarora Indian Reservation.

The campers will build handicapped ramps, repair porches and stairs, winterize and do repairs to homes, clean up trash, week whack and do yard work, paint homes, prepare and serve food, and redo a church floor.

While at Niagara, campers will hear from the admissions office and be able to tour the campus.
