Vote For NU In BroadwayWorld Buffalo’s Theatre Awards
Niagara University Theatre’s production of The Comedy of Errors has been nominated for Best Play in BroadwayWorld Buffalo’s 2014 theatre awards.
Niagara University is one of only two colleges included among the professional community in the polling. A number of NU faculty and alumni were also nominated.
Voting is now open at www.broadwayworld.com/buffalo/vote2014region.cfm.
Here a list of alumni, faculty and adjuncts who were nominated:
- Best Play: The Comedy of Errors by NU Theatre
- Best Actor in a Musical: Michael Wachowiak, ’12
- Best Actor in a Play: Doug Zschiegner (Associate Artistic Director), Paul Todaro, ’88 (adjunct professor), former adjunct faculty members Thomas LaChiusa and Larry Smith
- Best Actress in a Musical: Renee Landrigan, ’13, and Michele Marie Benzin, ’98
- Best Actress in a Play: Josie DiVincenzo (adjunct professor)
- Best Director of a Play: Adriano Gatto (Artist-in-Residence), NU Theatre production of The Comedy of Errors
