You can help prevent the spread of the flu

Influenza-like illness (ILI) continues to spread throughout Western New York and Niagara County. Symptoms of the ILI include fever (measured temperature of higher than 100.5 F) that lasts 3 to 4 days, body aches, and a cough.  In addition, illness may be accompanied by other symptoms including headache, fatigue, exhaustion, sore throat and a runny or stuffy nose.  Influenza-like illnesses can vary in severity from mild to severe with some symptoms lasting up to 2-3 weeks.
