Please join the Office of Multicultural Affairs for “A Conversation with Angela Rye” as we explore economic empowerment, civic engagement, and developing your voice in challenging spaces! Angela Rye is the 2021 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Keynote Speaker. You may have seen her as an on-air-personality on CNN, Power 105.1 Breakfast Club, MSNBC, C-SPAN, TV-One and more. Rye is a lawyer and CEO of IMPACT Strategies, a political advocacy firm in Washington D.C. She engages in challenging conversations and has become a critical voice on many of the pressing issues of our time. She has an unwavering commitment to ensuring a positive change in the political process and this an event that you shouldn’t miss!
The free public presentation will take place at 6 p.m. on February 24, 2021 in both a virtual and in-person capacity. The event will be held in Castellani Art Museum with limited seating providing in-person accessibility and broadcasted on zoom for virtual options.
