A Message from Facility Services and Business Affairs

In collaboration between Facility Services and Business Affairs it has been determined as a cost saving measure to provide new water cooler systems installed and maintained by the university.  As each building/department’s Pure Water/Time Payment contract expires and comes to an end please contact the Facility Services by placing a work order through MyNU to install a new water cooler system.  Please plan in advance (minimum of 3 months) to avoid a disruption in service.   All water coolers will be replaced throughout the campus with NU owned equipment.  The proposed model is very similar to what you have now with both hot and cold water.

This new equipment will be purchased by the each department where the water cooler is housed and installed by Facility Services. Facility Services will also maintain the equipment (filter replacement, labor etc.) and will charge each department for these services.  Please note each department must place their own requisition to purchase the equipment being charged against their own account.  Facility Services can assist with any questions you have for the requisition process.
