As the end of the fiscal year approaches, we would like to bring to your attention the following important information from the Controller’s Office:

All requests for payments for the fiscal year 2023 (June 1 – May 31) must be submitted to the Controller’s Office no later than June 16. To ensure the funds are pulled from the FY 2023 budget, invoices must be provided, and vouchers must be approved by this date. Any requests received after this date will be allocated against the FY 2024 budget.

Invoices received with a date of June 1 or later will be paid out of the FY 2024 budget.

To be included in the FY 2023 budget, all stipends, independent studies, and other related payments must be submitted no later than June 10.

Encumbrances must be cleared by June 16; otherwise, they will be rolled over to the next fiscal year budget. It is advised that you review your budgets to ensure that all invoices have been submitted for any encumbrances.

We would like to emphasize that these deadlines are set due to our year-end processes for the fiscal year audit.
