Alumnus to share his experiences TODAY

In Today's Events, by , on November 18th, 2016

Today from 3-4 p.m., recent Niagara University alumnus Andre Ware will be in the Gallagher Center’s lower level (near the MPR) to talk about his experiences with the Shepherd Consortium summer poverty internship program. He will also discuss his time over the past year stationed in the Ukraine as a member of the Peace Corps.

Andre has been living in Chernihiv, close to the Belarusian and Russian border.  He’s become a bit of an armchair expert on the Ukraine and on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Please, if you know anyone who has expressed interest in either the Shepherd poverty program or in the Peace Corps, pass along this information and invite them to stop by to meet Andre.

If interested, you can also read Andre’s Shepherd essay about his experiences organizing youth for political advocacy in Boston.
