American Sign Language Performer Patricia ‘Trix’ Bruce Coming to Niagara University
There are words and then there is Patricia “Trix” Bruce. She can tell her life’s story without uttering a syllable.
Bruce, who is Deaf, will bring her one-woman show to Niagara University Wednesday, April 11, for performances at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to participate in a Bruce-led workshop that involves exploring special language aspects of ASL as it relates to storytelling.
The shows take place in the Castellani Art Museum and are open to the public at no cost. Both events will be followed by a meet and greet with Bruce.
Voice interpretation will be provided.
