Angela Rye – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Keynote Speaker this Wednesday

Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs for “A Conversation with Angela Rye” this Wednesday as we explore economic empowerment, civic engagement, and developing your voice in challenging spaces! Angela Rye is the 2021 Dr, Martin Luther King Jr Keynote Speaker. Rye is principal and CEO of IMPACT Strategies, a political advocacy firm in Washington D.C. She is a regular on-air personality for BET, CNN, MSBC, C-SPAN and TV One. Rye engages in challenging conversations and has become a critical voice on many of the pressing issues of our time. She has an unwavering commitment to ensuring a positive change in the political process.

The free public presentation will take place at 6 p.m. on February 24, 2021 in both a virtual and in-person capacity. The event will be held in Castellani Art Museum with limited seating providing in-person accessibility and broadcasted on zoom for virtual options. The event is co-sponsored by NU’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, President’s Office, Office of Student Affairs, and Niagara University Opportunity Program.  Please see the attached flyer for registration details.
