Anna McNab Appointed Secretary Treasurer Of AIS Special Interest Group

Dr. Anna McNab, assistant professor of management at Niagara University, has been appointed secretary treasurer of AIS SIGHCI, the Special Interest Group on Human-Computer Interaction that is affiliated with the Association for Information Systems (AIS), the highest level organization for information systems professionals around the world.

The one-year appointment was made by Richard Johnson, Ph.D., and Na Li, Ph.D., chair and chair-elect, respectively, of SIGHCI.

Dr. McNab, who has previously served the organization as a reviewer and mini-track chair, will be responsible for maintaining organization records and potential bylaw revisions; distributing meeting minutes; planning, administering and monitoring SIGHCI’s financial affairs; producing financial reports; and processing reimbursement requests. She will also assist in overseeing two major information systems conferences – AMCIS 2014, which was held Aug. 7-9 in Savannah, Ga., and ICIS 2014, slated for Dec. 14-17 in Auckland, New Zealand.
