Announcing the 2020 Theme for Vincentian Heritage Week Sept. 27 – Oct. 3

In Niagara News, by , on June 24th, 2020

The University Mission Committee has begun planning for Vincentian Heritage Week, September 27-October 3, 2020. This year’s theme focuses on environmental sustainability: “Caring for our Common Home: It’s a Vincentian Thing.” Held to coincide with the Feast day of St. Vincent de Paul on September 27, Vincentian Heritage Week is a Niagara University tradition that educates and celebrates all that makes our university Vincentian.

While we plan for this year’s schedule of events we know that there may be guidance and restrictions that will force us to alter our traditional schedule of events and so we are asking for your help! We are interested in suggestions from our NU community for potential Heritage Week events, topics and even innovative delivery models that highlight this year’s theme. We particularly welcome ideas for academic programming and ways in which this theme might be tied into fall course offerings. Please send your ideas to Dr. Stefanie K. Wichhart the chair of the Mission Committee.
