ANNOUNCING THE NU WOMEN’S STUDIES PROGRAM WRITING CONTEST

The Women’s Studies Program announces the annual Writing Contest, open to all undergraduate students in any discipline who have written papers that are sensitive to women’s and gender issues. Two $100 awards are given: one to a first-year student, and one to a sophomore, junior, or senior-level student. First-year students may submit a paper that is 4-15 pages in length, and sophomore through seniors may submit a paper that is 6-15 pages in length. Students may only submit one paper. The contest deadline is Friday, February 12 at 5 p.m. Students with winning papers will be invited to present their work at the awards ceremony held on March 10, 2021, on the Niagara University Campus.
