Announcing the Susan B. Anthony Writing Awards Contest
The Women’s Studies Program announces the annual Susan B. Anthony Writing Contest, open to all undergraduate students who have written papers that are sensitive to women’s issues. Two $100 awards are given: one to a first-year student, and one to a sophomore, junior, or senior-level student.
First year students may submit a paper that is 4-15 pages in length, and sophomores through seniors may submit a paper that is 6-15 pages in length. Students may only submit one paper.
The contest deadline is Friday, January 26, 2018. Students with winning papers will be invited to present their work at the awards ceremony, held on February 15, 2018, on the Niagara University campus. This event is sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences. For more information, or to submit your paper, please contact Dr. Shannon Risk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
