In Today's Events, by , on December 6th, 2013

On Friday, December 6 at 4:45 p.m. the university will light the Christmas tree that is on display in St. Vincent’s Circle.

In order to allow all members of the university community to celebrate and participate in the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting/Blessing at 4:45 p.m., offices will close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Immediately following this event you can partake in festive refreshments and shopping at various locations throughout campus. As the ceremony is part of an undergraduate admissions Discovery Day, we ask that you come out and show our visiting families what the spirit of NU is all about.

Thank you for your support and cooperation. As always, if you have any questions, you can direct them to your supervisor.

Please contact the Interim Director of HR, Stephanie (Cole) Adams, if you have any concerns or questions regarding this joyous announcement and this new event at NU. We hope you will use your best efforts to encourage your employees to celebrate and build community with other employees, students, and visitors. And as always, purple is appreciated!
