Athletics Updates
Happy Easter!
The entire Niagara Department of Athletics would like to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Easter, along with a fun and safe few days off. Get your rest because when you return to Monteagle Ridge, there will be plenty of Purple Eagles sports action waiting for you!
Lacrosse
The Niagara women’s lacrosse team hosts Siena in conference action on Wednesday, April 16. Opening draw is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Niagara Field.
Tennis
The Purple Eagles hit the court this week as the men host Siena on Thursday, April 17, in their final game of the regular season. The women will also host the Saints on April 17, and will then welcome St. Bonaventure on Monday, April 21, for their final game of the regular season. All matches will be played at North Tonawanda at the Sportsplex. The matches on Thursday will begin at 9 a.m., while the start time for Monday’s action is yet to be determined.
Softball
The Purple Eagles return to Monteagle Ridge on Monday, April 21, when they host crosstown rival Canisius for a pair of games, with the first contest scheduled to begin at noon. All action will take place at Niagara Softball Field.
