Blessing of St. Joseph’s Table TODAY
Campus Ministry invites the NU community to the blessing of the St. Joseph’s Day Table by Fr. James Maher, C.M., at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, in front of the MPR in the Gallagher Center. The St. Joseph’s Table, which features meatless dishes, was started by Sicilians as a way of showing gratitude to St. Joseph for intervening to God for relief of the famine. They promised God that they wouldn’t turn their backs to the poor. A free will offering will benefit the NU St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen.
