“Be Prepared.” This Boy Scout and Girl Scout motto is a reminder to be prepared for any situation that may arise, including a weather emergency or disaster.

On March 8, more than 80 scouts from throughout Western New York attended a workshop on emergency preparedness hosted by Border Community SERVICE of Niagara University.

The event helped the boy and girl scouts to earn emergency preparedness merit badges and patches, respectively.

More details on the workshop available here.
