“My heart is filled with pride over the success of so many Niagara University Theatre alumni, faculty and even a current student involved in such a significant number of ‘Curtain Up’ productions,” remarked Dr. Sharon Watkinson, theatre department chair. “Indeed, this is a testament to the fact that ‘a life in the theatre’ is not only a possibility, but also a reality in the greater Buffalo community.”
“Curtain Up!,” the annual celebration of the opening of the Buffalo theatre season presented by the Theatre District Association of Western New York, will be held Friday, Sept. 19, 2014.
Niagara University Theatre, of course, is also presenting a full season of productions on campus, the schedule of which can be viewed at http://theatre.niagara.edu.
