Business Students Partake In College Fed Challenge Competition In NYC

Three College of Business Administration students – Alexander Carruthers, Daniel Miller and Allyssa Wadsworth – recently returned from New York City where they competed in the College Fed Challenge on Oct. 31. This was the first round of competition at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Dr. Jay Walker, assistant professor of economics, started putting together interested economics and financestudents for this competition during the fall 2013 semester, and regularly began meeting with the group during the spring 2014 semester. Dr. Kristine Principe, assistant professor of management, also helped the students with their research and polishing up their presentation skills, as well as accompanying them to the competition.
