Campus Curator Chats

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to enjoy the CAM at lunchtime!  Join a short guided exploration of an exhibition with a curator or knowledgeable staff member to gain deeper insights about the artworks and their context, while enjoying the beautiful, calming gallery atmosphere. Stay after the tour to ask questions, explore ideas to integrate the CAM into your course,  or see other galleries at the CAM.

To join, arrive at the CAM Welcome Desk by noon on the date of the tour.

September: Painting Water & Cutting Paper: Turkish Paper Arts

Description: Learn more about the traditional art of Turkish Paper Marbling or ebru, where artists paint designs on the surface of water. See how this tradition is paired with the intricate repeating patterns of Turkish Paper Cutting or kat’ı sanatı to create layered works of art.
