CAMPUS WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT TO BEGIN

In Announcements, by , on April 28th, 2020

Facility Services is about to begin the replacement of a water main along the route 104 side of campus, stretching from the west side of DePaul Hall to north of Leary Theater.   Planning for this project has been underway for more than a year, and once completed, will enhance the water flow to fire hydrants servicing the southwest side of campus.  The Town of Lewiston has provided the necessary permits and the project is consistent with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order allowing essential work on public and private utilities to proceed.

Project staff will be using a portion of the route 104 Clet driveway as a staging area. Work hours are 7:00AM-5:00PM.

The work will commence at DePaul Hall and will continue north across campus with the installation of a new 8” water line. This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of July.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we undertake this necessary work. Should you have any questions or concerns please contact Facility Services, Lori Caccamise at ext. 8402
