Career Services Offers “Pop-in” Workshops

Career Services is facilitating “Pop-In” Workshops for students during the month of November in the Bailo Hall Conference Room.  “Pop-ins” are an opportunity for students to develop professional skills in a group setting.  We appreciate an RSVP on Handshake: The Get Hired Portal at http://niagara.joinhandshake.com , but walk-ins are always welcome.  Popcorn will be provided.  Space is limited. The schedule is as follows:

Resumes 101 – Friday, November 8 @ 2:30 p.m.

Grab your friends and “pop-in” to Career Services for a crash course on resume writing! Feel free to bring your resume with you! Don’t have one? We will help get you started!

First Year Focus and Future StrategiesWednesday, November 20 @ 4:30 p.m.

This one hour 4:30pm-5:30pm small group interactive session targets Freshman and is designed to address any and all first year student queries and inspire immediate strategic next steps associated with Internships, Careers, Admissions, Networking and more. Pizza will be provided.

Internships – Friday, November 22 @ 2:30 p.m.

Interested in learning more about internships? Bring a friend and “pop in” to Career Services. We will discuss how to find an internship, applications, and how to register the internship for academic credit.
