Careers in Aging Week is an annual event intended to bring greater awareness and visibility to the wide-ranging career opportunities in aging and aging research. Universities and colleges around the world participate by sponsoring events at their schools or in their communities.

Careers in Aging Week 2016 is being celebrated at Niagara University April 4-8. Please stop by the information table in the lower level of the Gallagher Center, between 2-4 p.m., on Monday or Wednesday, for information about careers in aging or to talk to gerontology students about courses and programs.

On Wednesday, April 6, the Gerontology Center, the Psychology Club, and Active Minds are co-sponsoring a showing of the comedy-drama “5 Flights Up.” Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton star as a husband and wife who spend a hectic weekend pondering the sale of the apartment they’ve shared for more than 40 years. This event will take place at 6:30 p.m. in DePaul Hall, Room 126, and it is free and open to the campus community. Refreshments will be provided.
