Join the CAM on Saturday, April 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and participate in the museum’s first Slow Art Day and look deeper into our ability to appreciate art. Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art.

Why slow?

When people look slowly at a piece of art, they make discoveries. The most important finding is that they can see and experience art without an expert and make exciting discoveries. It unlocks passion and creativity and helps more visitors to learn how to look at and love art.

How does it work?

Simple rule: Participants look at several works of art for 10 minutes or more each and then talk about their experience. You don’t have any experience understanding art, only making observations and connections!

Admission is free!
