Christmas decorating on campus

In Announcements, by , on November 23rd, 2015

Please be advised that our grounds contractor, Elbers Landscape Service, Inc., has begun installing Christmas decorations. They have been working with members of the Niagara University Student Government Association (NUSGA) to map out a plan of decorating the campus.

On Monday, Nov. 23, Elbers will be erecting and decorating the very tall Christmas tree in St. Vincent’s Circle. Again this is just to make everyone aware and to be cautious of this ongoing work.

Additionally, we have been experimenting with the lighting of the light poles on Campus Parkway at the Witmer entrance. We are currently experiencing some problems with the pole outlets and are working to resolve the matter.

We are certain that once all decorations have been placed, we will all be very happy with the final outcome at the annual Tree Blessing and Lighting  ceremony set for Monday, Nov. 30, at 4:30 p.m. in St. Vincent’s Circle.

Please contact facility services at ext. 8430 with any questions or concerns.
