College of Education Hosting Technology Day: Nov. 12

The College of Education is hosting a Technology Day, Monday, November 12th. Coulter Lewis is a Microsoft Learning Development Specialist who holds undergraduate degrees in Education and Psychology. He returned to obtain his Masters of Education from Niagara University and completed a Master’s thesis focused on Motivation in the Classroom. Coulter decided to take his teaching credentials around the world with stops in Dubai, Australia and most recently San Francisco as a Language Arts Specialist. His experience has provided him opportunities to work in schools where technology was utilized to communicate and collaborate with students, parents and colleagues.

  • Morning session, 9:30-11:30AM, will focus on One Note, Sway, Flipgrid and More
  • Afternoon session, 1-3PM, will focus on Minecraft in the Classroom (basic coding and using gaming as a teaching strategy).
  • Both sessions will be in 350 Bisgrove.
