Compassionate Niagara Mini Conferences

Students in Mitchell Alegre’s Leadership and Teamwork course are collaborating with Compassionate Niagara on a movement to have Niagara Falls, NY, designated a Compassionate City. The students have been assisting in organizing a series of community mini conferences that bring together members of the community to envision how various community sectors may contribute to creating a more compassionate Niagara Falls.

All members of the NU community are invited to participate in these visioning sessions. The focus of upcoming meetings include:

  • Compassionate Human Services—October 22, 5:00-7:00 p.m., Heart, Love & Soul, 939 Ontario Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY
  • Compassionate Business—October 28, 5:00-7:00 p.m., Historic Holy Trinity, 1419 Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY
  • Compassionate Faith Communities: November 2, 2019, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., Beacon Memorial Presbyterian Church, 166 59th Street, Niagara Falls, NY
