‘Connected Isolation’ student exhibition opens at the CAM on Thursday, Dec. 1

In Announcements, by , on November 28th, 2022

Connected Isolation is an exhibition curated by NU Intro to Museum Studies students (AHM 252A). It provides a thoughtful visual exploration of our experiences during the core of the COVID-19 pandemic and is meant to help people reflect and connect through their shared difficulties.

Throughout the height of the pandemic, we were physically isolated from many people that we cared about. We had to learn to entertain ourselves, work from home, and adapt to the changing environment. This exhibition focuses on the darkness one can experience when isolated from others and the light we experience when spending time with the ones we love. The art reflects feelings of isolation, fear, hope, and missed opportunities.

Connected Isolation opens Thursday, Dec. 1. The reception will follow on Thursday, Dec. 8. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP for the reception today! https://tinyurl.com/3724wdzy
