Consider hosting an international student for Family Weekend, Sept. 27

In Announcements, by , on September 25th, 2014

The Office of International Relations is looking for volunteers to host an international student in their home for dinner on Saturday, Sept. 27, during family weekend.  Most international students’ families will not be able to visit campus during family weekend, and we would like them to have a U.S. family experience.  The Office of Multicultural Affairs & International Relations will sponsor an open house on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 2 – 4 p.m., just outside the international relations office.  We ask faculty and staff who plan to host a student to come to the open house to meet their student and then take them to your home for dinner and bring them back to campus.

If you are interested in hosting a student, please email the Office of International Relations at, and let us know how many students you can accommodate.  Once we receive the responses, we will connect students with their hosts and send you information on your student.

We appreciate your involvement with enhancing the international student experience.
