“Decolonization: Where We Are and Where We Are Going”
April 8, 1:30-2:50 p.m., Niagara University, in coordination with event partners Brock University and Bridgewater State University, proudly present the last talk in the speaker series, entitled, “Decolonization: Where We Are and Where We Are Going.” Panelists will look at Decolonization as “an essential part of reconciliation between non-Indigenous and Indigenous peoples.” They’ll ask, “How do we reckon with the past and build a world where colonial ideologies are dismantled and Indigenous ways of know are valued and reinforced?” Please see the attached brochure for online event registration or reach out to Dr. Shannon Risk with any questions .
