Don’t Forget #Giving Tuesday – TODAY
Join the NU community in #GivingTuesday – NU Gives Back! What is #GivingTuesday? Launched last year to inspire action around charitable giving, #GivingTuesday is “an opening day to the giving season,” similar to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which have become days that are synonymous with holiday shopping. This year, on Dec. 3, Niagara University will participate in #GivingTuesday. Alumni, students, staff and friends will be available at coffee shops and restaurants around Western New York to take donations of nonperishable goods and cash that will be distributed to several local nonprofit organizations.
How do I participate in #GivingTuesday? Bring a nonperishable good to one of nine WNY locations and join us for coffee or a scheduled networking activity. Just look for anyone in NU apparel to collect your donations. (See the attached flyer for the current scheduled locations).
