Dr. Patricia Benner To Keynote Innovations In Education For Nurses Conference
Niagara University’s nursing department will host a daylong conference for nursing educators on Friday, Sept. 11. The event will take place 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in theCastellani Art Museum on the Niagara campus.
Innovations in Education for Nurses will feature several nationally recognized experts in nursing innovation and education, including a keynote address by Dr. Patricia Benner, professor emerita at the University of California’s School of Nursing. Dr. Benner, author of From Novice to Expert: Excellence and Power in Nursing Practice, will present on curriculum and pedagogical imperatives for teaching in a practice discipline.
