Dr. Sally Roesch-Wagner to speak on the Feminism of Haudenosaunee Woman and the New York Suffragists

Dr. Sally Roesch-Wagner will talk about how the early New York State women’s suffragists observed the equal society of the Haudenosaunee and used the status of women in that society as a model for all American women. The event will take place on March 26, 2018, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center, next to the new train station. The event is free and open to the public and parking is free. This event is part of Niagara University’s Centennial Celebration of the New York State women’s vote.
