Dr. Shannon Risk Elected New York Academy of History Fellow
Congratulations to Dr. Shannon Risk, associate professor of history, on being elected a fellow of the New York Academy of History!
Membership in the academy is by invitation only and limited to those with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in New York history as authors, archivists, public historians, teachers, librarians, administrators, and others. Dr. Risk, who offered many lectures during last year’s anniversary of women’s suffrage in New York, will be formally inducted into the academy April 5.
