Elbers new approach to snow removal on campus
This winter, Elbers, our grounds contractor, will be utilizing a brine treatment to assist with snow management on Niagara’s campus. The brine is a saltwater solution that will be applied to roadways, sidewalks and parking areas as a pre-treatment to assist with ice buildup and to promote more efficient snow plowing and removal. You may see trucks and other vehicles around campus applying this liquid solution to those areas mentioned prior to snow falling. Niagara is excited that Elbers is bringing this innovative snow management solution to our campus and look forward to the positive results.
