Emergency Preparedness Training

In Today's Events, by , on April 7th, 2017

Consistent with Niagara University’s vast emergency preparedness efforts, the campus Crisis Response Team (CRT) has developed a multifaceted program to prepare the university community to respond to an active shooter situation on campus.

A series of training sessions will be conducted this month to educate the campus community about recommended actions in the event of an active shooter. Admittedly, the thought of an active shooter on our campus is not pleasant but, unfortunately, such situations have become modern day realities that warrant consideration and preparation.

The training will be held according to the following schedule. Please make every effort to attend the training session for your building, as some discussion will be situational to specific locations. However, it is most important that you participate in any of these training sessions, so if you cannot attend your scheduled session, please attend one of the other sessions.
