Exploring Inclusive Language Workshop – Sign Up TODAY!
The Identifying and Dismantling Racial Injustice Training and Education Committee is sponsoring a workshop titled Exploring Inclusive Language on Thursday, April 15, at 3PM. This workshop, facilitated by Ida J. Gibson, Ph.D., introduces participants to a common language and framework around inclusive language best practices. Language is a powerful tool and can have a lasting impact on a person’s growth and development. By exploring inclusive language, participants will be better able to support students and colleagues in an inclusive way through language and greater awareness of privilege, identity, and inclusion.
