Facility Service Requests: TMA Training

In Announcements, by , on October 14th, 2014

TMA is a computer based system that allows facility services to receive work requests from the community. Those work requests can then be converted to work orders that are prioritized and scheduled for our staff to perform the work you have requested.  Who uses TMA? The entire campus community uses TMA for all the work orders, campus maintenance and record keeping.

Why do we need TMA? It provides the historical memory for the building, equipment or the event. The information helps track warranty issues, aids in trouble shooting problems and in the decision making process. It increases efficiency and makes us more cost effective. Father Maher repeated the words of Saint Vincent DePaul at our community meeting “Action is our entire task.”

Facility services is offering the opportunity for members of the campus community to learn about TMA. Please email dsa@niagara.edu if you would like to schedule a twenty minute training session on how to submit a request, track a work order or enhance your knowledge of this important software.
