Faculty Development Tip of the Week: Scheduling and Hosting Advisement Appointments in Google Calendar
Google Calendar allows faculty to create Appointment Slots where students can book one-on-one appointments for Advisement or Office Hours. This short video covers how to create the appointment slots and add the web conferencing to the calendar event. Also, faculty can find advisees’ email addresses in MyNU. Navigate to My Links in the lower left hand corner. Click “All Links” then “Additional Faculty Links.” Next, click on “Advisees” under the Academics section. Here, you will find a list of your advisees and an option to email all advisees.
