Dear Members of the University Community,

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Christina Cuttone to the position of Assistant Controller / Finance at Niagara University. She joined our campus community as a member of our Finance department on a full time basis on Tuesday January 22.

Her experiences include filling the role as Financial and Cost Accountant accounting at LVD Strippit and most recently as Financial and Cost Analyst at Ashton Potter USA Ltd.

In her new capacity at Niagara, Christina will assist the Controller in the management of the Controller’s Office and serve as second in command in the Controller’s absence.  She will supervise the accounting and accounts payable operations, oversee the subsidiary ledger accounting and reporting, including University funds, investment and restricted funds general.  She will also assist the Controller in managing the annual audit.

Christina is a 2014 graduate of Canisius College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  She was a student athlete at Canisius as a member of the women’s cross country team.  Her active involvement in the community includes serving as an international Peer Mentor and participating in the Meals on Wheels program.

Christina and her husband Aaron reside in Clarence and are parishioners at Our Lady of Peace in Clarence.
