The Niagara University School of Nursing will be taking their experience ‘Beyond the Books’ this spring by reaching out to support a local agency in Niagara Falls. Pinnacle Community Services offers services through three halfway houses in Niagara County. This organization provides shelter for victims of domestic violence, supports runaway and homeless youth, and offers maternity assistance to young women and their children.

The nursing students will be in Lower Level Gallagher Center on April 10-12th from 10am-2pm to collect supplies to support Pinnacle Community Services. They will be accepting personal care items, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, diapers/baby wipes, school supplies, and monetary donations. All who donate will be entered in a gift card raffle. One ticket to the raffle will be issued for each item donated and two tickets for each $3 cash donation. Prizes will be 2 – $25 deposits of Galley Gold, and $25 gift cards to Target, Walmart, Starbucks, Sunoco, Wegmans, and the Orange Cat.
