Greenman, Burt, Crean Join Niagara University’s Office of Institutional Advancement

Niagara University has made three key appointments to its Office of Institutional Advancement staff.

David Greenman joined Niagara as its associate vice president of institutional advancement. His previous positions include executive director of the King Urban Life Center, major gifts officer at the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, and fundraising roles with Mercy Flight Inc. of Western New York and St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute. Greenman holds a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College.

In addition, Claire Crean and Alanna Burt were named major gifts officers.

Crean comes to Niagara after 10 years with the March of Dimes in the positions of executive director of market development, division director and community director. She is a graduate of St. John Fisher College.

Burt most recently spent time as a senior annual giving officer with the University at Buffalo. She has also held positions at OCAD, McMaster and Cornell universities, and possesses experience as an independent fundraising consultant. Burt earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Quinnipiac University.
